I am proud to say that we have a great team of people working together at Improving Patient Advocacy in Chronic Kidney Disease. We are patients, caregivers, and doctors from across Canada, who believes that present issues surrounding chronic kidney disease should be addressed in order to guarantee a brighter future for the CKD community. We are making it our goal to represent you but mainly to give you the right tools to become your own advocate.
I am personally thrilled that this group was formed in order to better serve the renal community; there is definitely a need for a group such as ImPACKD. Living with CKD can be frustrating at times, to say the least. It can also be overwhelming, challenging and confusing. We hope that this website will inform, inspire and improve your experience with chronic kidney disease, whether you are a patient, parent, spouse, caregiver, nurse, doctor, etc.
